Getting To Yes Through A Lot of No

One of the maddening things in trying to land a Corporate gig is getting to yes - a contract, a deal, an actual offer of work.

For example, there's a hotshot HR contact I have.

At one point we shook hands and said: "Let's change Japan."

Yea! And since then?

Zilch.

It happened to one of our ATSuccess Village members: a sudden call, a tantalising proposal - but they need it tomorrow. She drops everything, gets the proposal done, and waits.

And waits. And waits. On our next coaching call…

"What should I do Jeremy?"

My answer was clear - there's a straightforward strategy that avoids headaches, finally causes more interest and leads you to the right contracts minus a lot of angst. The sweet answer to that - and many corporate conundrums - is part of my London workshop (and my upcoming Online Course.)

AND HERE'S A CLUE…

They are not "clients" at all; they are INDIVIDUAL people.

Is that anything new?

Of course not. You've had difficult students before: people who don't turn up; people who get angry for no reason you can fathom; people who suddenly stop responding.

We've been there, we've done that.

However, there IS one big difference. Ignore that at your peril. And this is what you must do if you want the work.

It's hidden within my mantra for landing corporate work:

BE PREPARED. BE VERY PREPARED.
