Sometimes the best conversations happen in the weirdest of places. Peter Jacobson upgraded himself to personal coaching with me, and I had invited him to be my guest in Chicago at Perry Marshall's Roundtable - a mastermind seminar. It's CareerThinking/ATSuccess hotseats at high level. You don't get into this club unless you have a business turning over a million dollars or more. Peter got lucky - the entry to this group is $20,000 a year, but he came as my guest. Now the Roundtable group are people who transport your car across America, who sell you lacquer that offers metal magic protection; they're investment advisors, corporate recruiters and accountants. Not people you usually associate with deeper spiritual questions but hey, we are all human right? Peter has these questions handled: he has a one year plan, a five year plan and a 15 year plan. Here's a guy going places, and I am delighted to have him as my second Pro coaching member in ATSuccess. I get more personal with the people in Pro level. In fact at one point, Peter scolded me. "Jeremy, you're not charging enough." It was nice to be coached back. So there we are, in a noisy busy restaurant taking a few hours to plot Peter's future business. He got that in buckets, and I want to thank him because he helped to inspire a simple way to map out your student Sales funnel: how to gather students into your practice in a methodical, scientific way. Be kind to yourself as we move along in this series - it can take you years to construct a reliably "scientific" funnel, but when you do most of you tedious work is over. Forever. You are then ready to move into another level of your practice where the norm is plentiful cash flow, and ease to plan your next move. No more hand-to-month monthly panics.
