I have felt guilty not writing to you.

I am writing every day – per usual – and it is being translated into Japanese, and it is only being sent out in Japan. 

At the moment, I am running a Pro Trial campaign for my Tokyo and Osaka Schools, and I am going to publish them to you, and invite you instead to Golden Week. Golden Week is like Japanese Easter in the first week of May.

Next May, the dynamic teaching duo of Lucia Walker and Sharyn West will descend upon Mt Fuji and reside over our 20th Annual Residential!

Of course, along with Lucia and Sharyn, you get Jeremy, and the whole BodyChance Mandala of Japan – around 100 Japanese will be joining you to celebrate Alexander's wonderful discovery over five days in the shadows of Mt Fuji.

My coming emails will give you a taste for my current teaching technology.

Your Sensory Fragmentation Quiz

When you feel good, what is it that feels good?

The obvious answer is - "Me. I feel joy. I feel peaceful."

But that isn't really an answer; it's another judgement. 

Judgement of what?

Your state of being.

Ontology is the scientific study of your state of being. 

An "Ontologist" (and you) might ask: 

- How can you feel better all the time?
- Are you a Master or a Slave to your personality?
- What are the components of an attractive state of being? 
- Could you cause these improving conditions?

Ontology is something you study at BodyChance – since your "Posture" is another name for your "state of being". They are no different. A "bad posture" is associated with unpleasant conditions; whereas a "good posture" is related to pleasant conditions.

Therefore, if we can define what makes a "good posture" we are on the way to finding out how to feel better. 

First answer these three simple questions:

Q1. Is your inner postural feeling pleasant or unpleasant?

NOTE
If you're having trouble deciding if you feel pleasant or unpleasant, then pick unpleasant. (People usually know  when they are feeling pleasant!)

Q2. Do you have one physical/emotional integrated sensation? If not, go to Q3.

Q3. Do you feel different kinds of postural sensations in your Self right now?

NOTE
These can be sensations of physical discomfort in different areas; it can be various emotions in your torso; it can be a general sense of anxiety or peace; it can also be the absence of any sensations – a kind of emptiness of anything. Numbness even. Cold.


Sensory Integration Vs Sensory Fragmentation

I'd wager that the majority of readers registered these answers:

Q1. Unpleasant
Q2. No
Q3. Many different sensations.

When your sensations fragment into lots of little bits – this produces a distracted, unpleasant feeling.

Fragmentation is a sign of postural disintegration – a system whose working parts are not cooperating. Each area is doing its own thing, disregarding the way it is influencing other areas of your body.

The result is an unpleasant feeling.

What marks a pleasant postural feeling is an integration of your sensory experience – this produces a free, satisfying feeling. Now here's the most exciting point of my little essay today: 

When your postural systems cooperate, you get sensory integration - you start feeling much, much better!

Every lesson at BodyChance produces this effect.
