Being Alone Is Not A Strategy

What are you going to do this Xmas - get drunk or get ready?

I'd like to do both, but given my terrible history of alcohol excess, I'll go for "get ready" instead. Getting drunk is not all it is made up to be - it starts out as fun and ends up with a hangover.

Ironically, "getting ready" is almost the opposite: it starts out with a hangover (of worry, guilt, stress) and ends up fun.

Nothing like the satisfaction of getting something constructive done, while others are our killing a few more million brain cells.

What will it be for you?

"Getting ready" means thinking about 2018. This season is only silly if you say it is. I plan to have fun AND I plan to think about 2018:

How will I support my daughters as they emerge into adulthood?

How will I lead my BodyChance Team for the coming year?

How will I develop my MasterMinders service for Alexscovery teachers?

How will I transition my life from Mullumbimby to Milton Keynes?

How will I grow my new Productive and Profitable Health Services company?

How will I treat my new boyfriend?

All big questions, all worth contemplating during the Xmas season.
