Broken People Do Better
Apr 10, 2022I’m getting old.
I mean - I always was - but I never thought about it. Now I do.
Ebbing passion is a symptom that grows along with wrinkles. The hungry need for accomplishment that drove my morning routine is weakening with every year that passes.
What to do?
I understand better why most people prefer employment to entrepreneurship.
Therefore - if there is no boss - you better manufacture one.
Put it another way - if you didn’t have a job that expected you on time, would you still work every day at the same time? Novelists mostly do; entrepreneurs start early. Of course - you didn’t sign up for this: to be an entrepreneur. You loved Alexander’s Discoveries and how they helped you, and now you have to build a business?!
Yep, you do.
How do you motivate your Self to do something you don’t want to do so that you can do what you want to do?
Until you answer that one, there’s no point in studying marketing, building a mailist, branding your Self, making offers and writing social media lures.
And here am I, unexpectedly facing the exact same question.
One thing I have observed: self-motivation is often built on inner desperation. Broken people - who have managed to turn around psychic dysfunctions into positive behaviour - succeed best. Or fail spectacularly, but always with energy.
But what if you are just a normal Joe-Jane? How do to manage then?
Know thyself.
First, figure out how to link your passion for Alexander’s Discoveries with the practical necessities of being an entrepreneur. Which are:
- getting up early every day
- maintaining a 7/24 focus
- learning technical stuff
- risk-taking behaviour
- staying healthy
So get a boss and pay them well.
