Conscious Constructive Guidance (CCG)

Apr 24, 2017

I’m hitting the stop button on my series of three.

Instead – today’s is Grace’s birthday, and it’s a good moment to reflect on my (and yours) mammalian instincts. These most often remain hidden to you, yet determine 99% of your actions.

That 1% is important: that 1% is Steve Jobs @ Apple. It’s Gandhi in India.

Conscious Constructive Guidance, the 1%.

As I wrote before, not FM's invention. Instead, the old man reconstructed CCG around his profound discovery that you can put CCG on oversight of head movements governing your vertebral co-ordination, using CCG to tweak what you do as you are doing it.

Alexander's discovery.

Money Produced by Alexander's Discovery

Alexander is industrial, I’ve said it for years. I am talking about centuries, not decades. Uploading Alexander's discovery through touch – which is how the operational knowledge passes most effectively and efficiently – is a centuries-long affair.

Here we are, into our 2nd 100 years, and we have barely even started. We are still a splintered, ineffective profession that hovers close to obscurity. What happened?

It is what has not happened that is most interesting.

Very few get it. Even in our Profession. FM saw it, so did Marj.

This is a human-condition changing event, a milestone on the evolution of a species.

It is a next step: giving our automated neuro-muscular process oversight by CCG, the 1%. A complex, cognitional program calibrated against kinaesthetic understanding (which is why touch is so important) and sensory feedback, all driven cognitively. Like a CEO with a vision, like a complex city SEEING ITSELF (traffic, people) while being guided by itself (goverment, people).

Werner Erhart – I heard him speak while I was a silent workstudy on the sidelines of his 3 days with 20 Forum Leaders. Werner was talking about “Temporal Awareness”. Humans have a kind of cognitional recall better than any other mammal. And we use it to strategize our future, and also to frighten us.

“If you want to be afraid, get a future” Byron Katie tells it.

Alexander called it endgaining.

Buddha called it attachment.

Angelica calls it…

“Whatever”

Anyway, I seem to be rambling on here. I am trying to play around with the form of my Daily. To surprise you, to go in a different direction. To try new writing forms.

I am convinced that to communicate Alexander's discovery we must be master communicators. My Daily is my practice at Mastery of the written word.

And what better way to practise, than to go to it every day?
