Deep Thinking Autumn - Are You Ready?
Aug 10, 2014"Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it." Henry Ford.
There's a sultry breeze blowing through from Tokyo right now, and looking out, I can see evidence of autumn coming. Fallen leaves and my own planning for the new term. In Japan, September is the beginning of the cultural time. There are concerts, dance companies are visiting, all kinds of events are being announced to attract people. What happens in your country? Is this a "beginning" time in your market? It's a perfect time for you to offer something fresh and exciting. You have many old students - why not invite them back? (Did you keep a list?) Those who stopped for the summer - remind them you exist! Remind of how much they benefited by their lessons while they are on their summer break. What can you think up that would appeal for them to want to return? Deep thinking means projecting your mind into an art of creation… Every day, write down one new idea you could implement in your practise for the coming season. ATSuccess Members - share in our group one idea, help each other. It could be a simple as a new way to offer your sessions - a new ticket system, or an extra "value-added" community component (take them bowling or play soccer). Is there a more appealing "package" that you can offer? It's time to experiment: you still have a month to prepare. Deep think it. Prepare it. Let us know on Facebook!
