DeepThinking - The Lucky By-Products Of Connectivity

I have been struck recently by the lucky Yoga niche connections Cecile has been documenting for us in ATSuccess Village. Angela, on our Pro Skype sessions, has been experiencing the same thing in her niche in the UK. People contacting them both with work requests - wonderful. I am asking - are they lucky? I think not. We call them "lucky" because we can not predict or premeditate their occurrence. They are a happenstance, an event for which there is no way of knowing how, where, when or what will happen. However, it is possible to create the conditions whereby more of these happenstances happen. How do you do that? By becoming connected. By getting used to talking with strangers - being open and friendly in a non-linear way. Non-linear? No agenda, no "purpose", no deliberate manipulation of the situation. That's called "networking" and it's got a bad rep from Hollywood movies! Instead, replace that with an open-hearted curiosity, genuine interest and concern, deep listening and compassion. You will be amazed what can happen. One conversation like that may result in changing your entire life 6 months or two years down the line. A little effort for a big payoff, but you can't plan for it specifically! It needs trust, trusting to the goodness of humanity. Do you talk to people on the train? On the bus? At the supermarket? Do you smile at strangers, and greet people who look at you when you enter a new place? Try it. It's amazing how a smile can open a door that appeared closed. Of course you can't manufacture a smile. If I am walking around in one of my depressions, a pumped-up, pushy smile will open no doors. Niche is a powerful way to harness the lucky by-products of connectivity. Be open to anyone you meet on your niche travels: three days later (s)he may be the person who was talking to their friend when a Studio owner walked in and listened, then: "Oh, I never heard of Off-The-Matt-Yoga? What's that?" And the next thing you know, Cecile is getting a phone call from a complete stranger. Complete stranger? Actually not. Someone in this mysterious, unseen web of connectivity that underlies every niche, including yours. Trust people and give to them, they will benefit you in the end.
