Falling in Love with Japan
Jun 08, 2017I've always been trying to run away from Japan.
I feel like Al Pacino as Michael Corleone in the Godfather III* movie, when he growls:
"Every time I think I have left, they keep pulling me back in!"
The first time, I took a 6 month sabbatical from BodyChance, and lived in Australia with my family. I tried to start BodyChance in Sydney, and all I succeeded in doing was losing $40,000, disappointing 5 trainees, ending my marriage, getting another retinal detachment and very nearly destroying a beautiful friendship.
I quickly scurried back to Japan, my tail between my legs.
My second effort was BCLA - BodyChance Los Angeles. That one cost me $160,000, several relationships gone sour, a spooky campaign by some Alexander fundamentalists up in San Francisco (why were they worried?) and…
And continued neglect of my real home - JAPAN.
I am sorry Japan.
Japan is where my fate lies. How do I know that? Well, I am still here aren't I? Not only my fate, but I believe the fate of Alexander's discovery itself.
For those of you who actually read my blog day by day, you know that today I was going to answer the question:
"If our brain is not really being run by our conscious Self, then how do we change?"
With determined vision.
With consistent effort.
With love, support, clarity and time.
Change is industrial, and Alexander's discovery is a breakthrough applied to industrial change.
It will take an enormous effort - over an extended period of time - for Alexander's discovery to work its magic effects into the long-term health of homo sapiens. In my opinion, it's not an if, it's a when.
And it's a where…
My unconscious conviction is that Japan offers a gestalt of government, corporations and dutiful people, to wake human society up to the extraordinary value of Alexander's discovery.
In the decades to come, you will see astonishing results - results that the Japanese have shown, time and time again, that they can extract from foreign discoveries. It's almost their recipe. Once that's done, the rest of the world will slowly wake up to what was already in their back yard. Funny.
So. Here I am. In Japan. Forever. Till death us do part.
I LOVE YOU JAPAN.
Tomorrow, a little on my 25 year plan to ignite this evolution.
BTW: It's already the 159th day of Year 24, and I have begun in earnest. It revolves around my Change Compass. Best you get up to speed with that, by registering for a front row seat when I finally offer the first module.
Cheerfully
Jeremy

*I don't know if that is the exact quote - or if it was even in Godfather III - so perhaps some kind reader does remember (?) and can help me get my facts straight.
