The Alexander Technique has very little to do with Alexander!

FM didn't invent a whole new technique: he applied a scientific method to what he discovered.

What's important is this: FM discovered something!

You associate Einstein with the Theory of Relativity, correct?

However, how much has Einstein got to do with the relationship between Space, Time, Energy and Mass?

Very little. In fact - NOTHING.

Space, Time, Energy and Mass have always been the way they are. Einstein didn't invent them, or make a relationship between them, or change or influence them in any way.

AND it is the same with Alexander.

FM - just like Einstein - discovered a startling new fact about how vertebrates are organised to function successfully. It's a universal truth, just like the relationship between Space, Time, Energy and Mass.

It doesn't belong to Alexander, any more than those belong to Einstein.
