How to Create a Swimming Pool From a Song
Dec 04, 2017John Lennon of the Beatles once remarked to a friend:
"Whenever we want one, I sit down and write a swimming pool."
Can you guess what he meant?
The answer reveals an often hidden secret of a successful biz, and it continues to amaze me how few people understand or act upon this insight.
Here's how it works:
John Lennon would sit down and write a song.
The Beatles would produce that song and release it.
The fans would buy it.
The money John earned would pay for a new swimming pool.
Simple, right?
This is how any biz works, including yours.
It means two things to you when you are starting out:
1. You need to gather together a list of your fans; and
2. You need a way to stay in touch with them.
1. GATHERING YOUR FANS OR STUDENTS
In my videos for this month's MasterMind, I speak about how you can attract students and make them fans.
But what do you do with those fans?
This is where you need to be savvy. There's a lot of noise out there, and you don't want to add to the racket.
There are several clear steps to take, and it's a bit like from dating…
Too quick - you scare them off.
Too slow - they lose interest.
In this month's MasterMind, I will be taking you through those steps and helping you to build a narrative that interests, entertains and brings them to you.
