How To Tell A Story

Jann McMichael is a Pro member of ATSuccess.

She does not identify her Self as a writer, yet she recently wrote a captivating email. I was impressed enough to take the time to let her know. Here's her reply…

"Thanks Jeremy.....it was like it came from somewhere else! I wrote it in an hour; no planning. Just started, and it flowed. It doesn’t often work like that though!"

But it will Jann; and it will work for anyone who takes the time to practice INCLUDING YOU.

I started writing daily emails on February 6th of this year, and I haven't missed a day. I did lose my computer and stopped, but I wrote morning and evening to catch up!

When I first heard this idea - write an email every day to your list - my reaction was:

"That's nuts. No-one wants an email EVERY DAY. Come on!"

I was wrong.

Roughly 50% of my readers read my emails - which, if you know anything about email opening rates, is off the charts. When I approached one of the largest Yoga organizations in Japan to send an email to their 15,000 contacts, I asked their opening rates:

3~4% they replied.

They were happy with that.

Of course, all they sent out was trash: Buy this, buy that. Nothing exciting, nothing entertaining, no useful information. Why was Jann's email so different?

Here's an excerpt where Jann describes what she did in a lesson…

Your mind knows the truth. But maybe not ‘knowingly’

So I did a little experiment with her.

I asked her to extend her arm and hold it there.

Then I asked what was keeping her arm up.

She replied – her arm muscles.

I suggested that she now think of her arm as an extension of and connecting to her back.

Then I asked her what did that do for her.

She was intrigued! Her arm felt less heavy!

So what changed?

The only thing different was that she suddenly ‘got’ the direct neural path!

She knew ‘knowingly’ her own true neural expression.

Easy enough to write about isn't it?
