Love Is In The Air - How Good A Lover Are You?

I am a self-centred person according to Stephen Covey's seminal work "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" which means my every decision is centred around "How will this effect me?" Funny, I thought everyone was like that. Maybe they are, maybe there are not - but today is Valentines Day in some parts of the world and love is in the air. My burning question is: do I go to Brazil in June? Those that are fans will immediately know I am talking about the World Cup and obsession with soccer, oops football - depending where you are reading this. You know, the game where they don't handle the ball. My eldest daughter is into soccer - she started playing in Japan as 5 year old with 10 other befuddled Japanese boys who were all smaller than her. Angelica was gender blind to all this, crashing through them all to score a goal every game. It wasn't very organised - they basically hung around the ball like flies on manure - and Dad (the only parent ever there) cheered her on from the sidelines. Perhaps this is the final year she is still a child, and we have only the times I can collect away from the business in Japan - at most a few months a year in each other presence. Am I interested in soccer? No. Then why would I go to Brazil? Well, I am as interested in my daughter as she is in soccer - isn't that reason good enough? I think it is - so this morning I booked us all tickets to go to Brazil. Happy Valentine's day Angelica. Now what can I do for Grace?
