M01.13 – BCLA Starts For Real

For those of you that followed my series of emails on the planning of BCLA, I am happy to report that Brett started today working as the first BodyChance entrepreneur swinging his tongue in America. I flew in from Mullumbimby in Australia this morning, then drove down to San Diego today chatting with Brett about the new studio. We met up with others for a late night chat, and now I am finally a getting to my blog (although I already wrote another one to-day - see below). So dreams can happen, and in this case rather quickly. We worked for several hours today on the metrics – the numbers – as Paul insisted we would waste time at our meeting tomorrow if we had not made a clear financial plan. The plan we made has a studio opening in June, and breaking even by December. I am meeting with a whole swag of LA teachers tomorrow to offer a workshop in the “BodyChance” style, then chat with them all about how I may help with their careers. See the link here for more on that. *** I also decided on a method to handle the case studies I will do over the next few months – firstly, I will post the full set of answers to my 12 questions, as they were posted at Survey Monkey, then secondly, on the next day I will add my comments.
