Mother Nature & RI (Real Intelligence) Part I

What is intelligence anyway?

If you're an animal (you are) it's being smart at:

1. Staying alive

No number 2. 

That's it. 

Inside of "staying alive" is:

- not being eaten;
- being able to eat; and 
- making more of you; and finally
- being better at it than anyone else

Intelligence serves your ability to accomplish this. Not only to stay alive but to evolve and get better at it, as a person and as a species.

Homo-Sapiens keep finding more and more ways of becoming healthy – despite the gloomy feeling we have today, we have more of our species along with less war and poverty than at any other time in our history.

What's is there to worry about?

AI, that's what. (Artificial Intelligence) 

It's not something that keeps most people awake at night. Right now, it is the play-child of Hollywood & Bollywood and Indie film-makers. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terminator and all that. Singularity. However, eventually, AI will be able to do most things we humans do, only better. 

Driving a car, diagnosing your disease, running a factory, counselling homo-sapiens… 

ALL THIS HAS ALREADY HAPPENED.

AI is better than your dog. 

Sony's Aibo robot dog – First Litter Edition – sold 20,000 puppies within seven months of its release in Japan. Social studies are confirming the valuable health benefits of harbouring an AI companion like Aibo. 

This is our future, and it isn't all bad either.

But what happened to RI? (Real Intelligence) 

You know, the one that is supposed to keep you healthy. 

If you're full of aches and pains, exhausted and every few days feel stressed and depressed – you need a dose of real intelligence.

Alexander's discovery is a focus for real intelligence.
